Quarried in the town of Marquinia, between Bilbao and San Sebastian in northern Spain, Marquinia Black marble is one of the world's most prized natural stones, making it the black marble of reference in any project.
The dark black background with very fine grain has whitish veins that occasionally veer towards a soft green, and light mottling due to small white fossil residues.
Characteristics and use
As architectural stone, it has excellent technical characteristics and is therefore used for any type of application, from floors and claddings for both interiors and exteriors, to the most sophisticated furniture complements.
