Serizzo is widely used for the creation of outdoor stairs and sometimes also for indoor use, due to valuable mechanical characteristics such as resistance to temperature changes, weathering, trampling and wear.
Furthermore, it is highly valued for the uniform light gray-based appearance with a slight presence of biolite that creates the characteristic pattern of black and white spots.
