The Nero assoluto or Nero Zimbabwe is a stone mined in the region of the same name in Southern Africa, characterized precisely by an intense dark hue. Of magmatic origin, it has characteristics close to granite such as resistance and hardness.

These technical properties are enhanced by special water- and oil-repellent and stain-resistant treatments-all with food certification-applied to the piece during preparation, ensuring maximum safety.

Nero assoluto granite kitchen countertops are distinguished by the uniqueness and elegance given the uniform color given by the fine grain of the material. In addition, the color may vary depending on the type of finish. With the polishing becomes completely black with a mirror effect and takes on a smooth appearance both to the eye and to the touch. If flamed or brushed instead, it turns out more granulated and dark gray.
