Rosso Verona Marble, also known as Rosso Asiago, comes from the province of Verona, and has been used for centuries for great architectural works, as evidenced, for example, by the stylised lions of the Red Lion Gate in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Bergamo.
