Roman Travertino is a limestone rock from Tivoli, near Rome and the Tiburtine Mountains. Appreciated since antiquity, the Romans used it to build important architectural works such as the Flavian amphitheatre, also known as the Colosseum.
His cream colour gives it a touch of timeless elegance. It can be distinguished in dark, with a creamy yellow background with darker shades tending to brown and light, with a background of the classic creamy-yellow travertine.
The surface has small natural holes due to the porous structure, which can be filled by grouting and subsequent sanding if a more uniform effect is preferred.
